The
OIC World Biz 2013, organised by the OIC International Business Centre, is the
fourth of its series, to be held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) Kuala
Lumpur from 25 – 28 September.

From
its two main sections - exhibition and conference - it hopes to attract 400
local and international exhibitors as well as 600 local and international
conference delegates from 35 countries with the theme, “Enriching Borderless
Economy”.
One of the highlights of the OIC World Biz 2013 will be the OIC-Asia Trade and
Economic Forum, which is set to attract leading business leaders from OIC
member countries led by the head of the OIC Secretary General, His Excellency
Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
The forum will take place on 25 September with two sessions and on 26 September
with three sessions.
The highlight of the opening day (25 September) of the OIC World Biz 2013 will be “The Jewels of Muslim World Awards”.

These
awards are given in recognition of an individual or
distinguished personality who has contributed and uplifted the Muslim world
towards the development of an Islamic economy.
They are aimed
at encouraging and inspiring more Muslim business leaders to not only innovate
and develop more businesses among the Muslim World but also to strive to a
higher level.
On
27 September, the Higher Education Conference will have three sessions to
deliberate on “Gateway to the global education”.
On 28 September, the final day of the conference will see the tourism industry taking the main stage with three sessions on moving forward in world Islamic tourism.
The exhibition sector, which will commence from 25 – 28 September at Hall 3 and 4, will be open daily from 10 am – 7 pm.
The major participating industries are from Islamic Banking and Finance, Investment, Insurance and Takaful, Education, Construction, Information Technology, Furniture, Agriculture and Plantations, Oil & Gas, Halal Food & Beverage, Communications, Tourism and Lifestyle, Real Estates; Property Development, Medical and Healthcare, Logistics and Warehousing and other industries.
